While The Hideout is newer to the scene, its history is what makes this place a legend. Back in the 1930's, Will Rogers and Doc Law used to front the building next door as a pharmacy and it was a speakeasy where The Hideout now stands. Those days, you could find celebrities like Marilyn Monroe and others hanging out. Back then, the two owners and their friends made their marks on the side of an old rowboat, which is still intact and hanging in The Hideout today.

Now almost 75 years later, the once, popular speakeasy, still has its fair share of celebrities making their way in for drinks, but caters mostly to locals and groups looking for a great neighborhood lounge. The neighborhood and the bar itself are both warm and inviting, and the drinks are created by some of LA's best bartenders. We offer a full bar along with some nice wines, import beers and specialty martinis.

There is something to do at The Hideout almost every night of the week, like Karaoke, Hurrydate Events, Mixer Parties, Acoustic Nights, and even Wine Tastings. We also have a heated outdoor smoking patio?

Whether you want to reserve the upstairs private room, or tables in the main lounge, The Hideout is the place to have birthday parties, engagement parties, charity events, going away parties, and company parties; it's even an ideal place to film since we are only open from 7pm-2am nightly.

We never charge a cover, reservation fee, or require bottle service. We make it as worry free as possible especially in our rebuilding economy.
